Terms & Conditions
1. About ParentLab
ParentLab offers in-person talks, workshops, and course series for parents. Our sessions are designed to be baby-friendly, flexible, and welcoming. Participation is voluntary and at your own discretion.
2. Registration & Payment
Registration is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.
All prices are listed in DKK and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
You will receive a confirmation email after purchase. If you do not receive it, please check your spam. If you cannot find it, contact us at hello@parentlab.dk.
3. Flexibility, Cancellations & Refunds
We know that life with a baby is unpredictable. Illness, sleepless nights, and last-minute curveballs are all part of the deal. ParentLab is designed with that reality in mind, and we aim to be as understanding as possible while keeping our small-scale events sustainable.
If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible.
Refunds or credits may be offered depending on timing and circumstances. The default policy* is as follows:
You may cancel your booking for a full refund up to 48 hours before the first session of a series.
After that point, we’re unfortunately not able to offer refunds for cancellations or missed sessions.
If you’re unable to attend a session, you’re very welcome to pass your spot on to another parent.
You are always welcome to come late or leave early. Please don’t stress about a last-minute diaper change that delays your arrival.
Where possible, we aim to be reasonable and human rather than rigid.
No-shows without notice may not be refundable.
*Specific details for your event will be outlined on the event page or in the FAQ. In case of conflicting policies, the policy listed on the event page should be considered final. If you’re unsure, just reach out — we’d rather talk than enforce fine print.
Thank you for understanding. This policy allows us to fairly compensate facilitators and venues while continuing to offer thoughtful, baby-friendly programming.
4. Changes or Cancellations by ParentLab
Occasionally, we may need to:
change a facilitator
adjust session timing slightly
reschedule or cancel a session
If we cancel a session or series, you will be offered:
a full refund, or
the option to transfer your registration to a future session
We will always communicate changes as early and clearly as possible.
5. Participation & Responsibility
Participation in ParentLab sessions is entirely voluntary.
You are responsible for your own wellbeing and that of your child during sessions.
ParentLab sessions are not therapy or medical treatment, and facilitators do not provide clinical or diagnostic services unless explicitly stated.
6. Babies & Children
Babies are welcome unless the event is described as adults-only.
Parents and caregivers remain fully responsible for their children at all times.
ParentLab does not provide childcare unless otherwise stated.
We aim to create a supportive environment, but cannot guarantee a distraction-free setting.
7. Photography & Recording
We may occasionally take photos for documentation or marketing purposes.
We will always aim to do this respectfully. This includes obscuring the faces of babies in any marketing content, unless express permission is given by the parent.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know and we will honor that.
We are always willing to engage in respectful dialogue about content you wish to be removed after it has been shared.
Audio or video recording by participants is typically acceptable under the following conditions:
Any content with other participants’ babies must obscure faces if shared publicly
The intellectual property of the instructor and ParentLab is protected. This means, for example, that significant portions of recorded class content may not be shared without express consent.
If you are asked by ParentLab, an instructor, or a fellow participant to remove content, you must work diligently to find a resolution.
8. Accessibility & Inclusion
We aim to create inclusive, welcoming spaces. Accessibility details are provided where relevant. If you have questions or needs not covered on the event page, please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
9. Waiting Lists
If an event is full, you may join a waiting list. Joining a waiting list does not guarantee a spot, and availability is offered on a first-come basis when spaces open.
10. Privacy & Data
We collect and store personal information only as needed to:
process registrations
communicate about events
meet legal and administrative requirements
We do not sell your data. For more information, please see contact us.
